ISLAMABAD: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad has claimed to have busted a gang of robbers and recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession.
A special team of the CIA raided a hideout in Islamabad and took Ishtiaq, Mumraiz, Shakeel Waheed and Noor Muhammad into custody. Police sources said that during the investigation, the arrested robbers confessed to have committed several robberies in the twin cities. The police also claimed to have recovered three pistols and several bullets from them. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
