Road mishap: IBA Sukkur lecturer dies in accident

He was driving home when a man came in front of him, he took a sharp turn, spinning his car out of control.

SUKKUR: Institute of Business Administration, Sukkur’s, lecturer Nauman Latif Memon was killed in a road accident near Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, on Monday night.

Nauman was driving home when a man pushing a hand trolley came in front of him. He took a sharp turn to avoid the pedestrian but his car spun out of control and hit a tree. He died on the spot.

The police moved the body to Civil Hospital, Khairpur, for post-mortem and then handed it over to his father, Abdul Latif Memon, a former professor and chairperson of the economics department at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur.

The family took his body to his hometown in Dadu, where he was laid to rest on Tuesday morning.

Nauman had completed his MBA from the United Kingdom and had joined IBA Sukkur as a lecturer only a week ago.

SALU Teachers Association and the IBA administration were shocked by his death.
