Dubai unveils new SMS-based visa service

All GDRFA’s services are available online, says AlMarri.

DUBAI: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA) has made the mobile visa (M-Visa) services available for residents, Dubai Media Office said in a tweet on Monday.

Major General Mohammed Ahmed AlMarri, Director General of GDRFA said the service allows residents to apply for an entry visa to Dubai from the GDRFA website. The applicants then receive the visa in an SMS on their cell phones immediately.

He pointed out that all GDRFA’s services are available online.
