KARACHI:

The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) banned Ramiz Raja Jr and Misbah Khan from participating in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy as a penalty for playing a private tournament in Bangkok while the premier domestic tournament was underway.

Both players were part of the Karachi Blues team that went on to become champions of the event.

KCCA has now banned five players over the ill-discipline issue as Khalid Latif, Fawad Alam and Sohail Khan were punished earlier. Meanwhile, it also banned KCCA Zone-I official Aftab Khan for five years on charges of corruption during its executive council meeting.
