Fahmida Mirza's win on Badin seat kickstarts PPP winnings

Mirza, according to unofficial results, secured over 70,000 votes. PPP wins NA-214 seat too.

Former speaker of the National Assembly Pakistan Peoples Party's Dr Fahmida Mirza won from the NA-225 in Badin, Express News reported.

According to unofficial results, Mirza beat out competition from the Pakistan Muslim League-Function (PML-F) Bibi Yasmeen Shah by a huge margin.

Mirza apparently secured 73,600 votes per unofficial results, while Shah secured only 39,400.

In NA-214 Nawabshah 2, PPPP candidate Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah won, per unofficial results. He secured the seat with 74530 votes, whereas his opponent from the PML-N Ali Asghar Rind received 12385 votes.
