Only MQM workers were seen at the AU Islamiya School polling station in Rizvia society.
The voters who had already cast their votes were being handed extra “slips” by MQM workers to vote for the party, a witness said.
When the presiding officer was informed of the incident, he denied all claims and refused to file an official complaint.

@Samia: It's a shame, Samia that you seem not to read what the article says and immediately blame whoever seems to insult what you believe in. The title of this article clearly states "Witnesses". This article isn't saying that it did happen but that there are witnesses to it. And why shouldn't ET be able to publish this. Rigging is an act of crime and last I checked newspapers are supposed to inform the people of such news. Take it this way, if it were about a murder and ET reported that witnesses claim Person #2 shot the victim, you wouldn't say anything against because it's just providing you with more information. It's not about evidence. It's just a news article and if you get so emotionally defensive, maybe you should stop posting comments and opinions on this website (according to your ideology).
Absolutely Spot On. I can confirm that after obtaining thumb impressions from them, voters were oppressed by MQM workers and were asked to leave the polling station especially in the area of Gulbahar.
@samia: Are you only talking about evidence that is on paper, that can be made up any time but do you actually think that a huge number of people with no political affiliations can be misstating things. Proofs are people who were witnesses to it. Reporting what people saw first hand is evidence enough. and the number of such people is large!
What about Lahore, my colleque saw Nawaz league members closed the door of a polling station for 30 minutes (NA- 118)
I witness the rigging on the historic May 11 elections. According to rules, incase somebody's vote was faked and casted already, the presiding officer was bound to get the vote of the right person recasted and the same was to be sealed in a white envelope before dropping it in the ballot boxes. the said vote was to override the fake one. But on the contrary, no such exercise was done in the NA 247 constituency. Albeit my siblings were made to recast their votes but no correct procedure was followed to ensure that the fake one does not come into the final count........
ECP please take notice, so that free and fair election must also take place in Karachi.

What are the proof of these allegations? Express tribune plz don't act like a tabloid those who lost always made such allegations if u have proofs bring it or restrain from publishing such news
