KARACHI: Many polling stations across the country are experiencing delays. There are no ballot boxes at the DHA Junior Model School near Sea View in NA-250, according to The Express Tribune reporter Rabia Ali.

People have been waiting in line since 8am and are getting ready to leave in frustration.

According to police officials at the venue, the ballot boxes will take 30 minutes to arrive.

Similarly at Greenwich University, the polling agent arrived late at the station at 9:30am. People had been waiting in line since 7:30am at the venue.

“Never in my twenty five years of voting have I experienced this kind of chaos”, said an elderly woman waiting in line.

Police guarding the station said that the ballot boxes were to arrive from the Magistrates office.

Some people at the venue said this could be a pre-planned tactic to turn away voters.
