RAWALPINDI: In order to facilitate the citizens and ensure their security, the City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has issued a traffic plan for a public meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to be held at Liaquat Bagh on Tuesday. Superintendent Police Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Shah said no vehicle would be allowed to go ahead on Benazir Bhutto (BB) Road from Mareer Chowk and Rialto Chowk. Similarly, the traffic coming from Islamabad would also be diverted on other routes from Rawal Road Turn, Naz Cinema and Committee Chowk. He urged the citizens to use an alternate route instead of Benazir Bhutto Road, as it will remain closed particularly from Committee Chowk to Rialto Chowk for all vehicular traffic. The officer said motorists can use routes of Peshawar Road and Airport Road, Mall Road, Rawal Road and BB Road ahead of Chandni Chowk.
