The 33 year old, who recently won the Miami Masters for his first ATP 1000 title with Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer, improved his ranking to ninth from 14 a month earlier.
After winning the Miami Open, Aisam and Rojer also improved their doubles world ranking from 21 to fourth.
Rojer also jumped five spots up, improving from 13 to eighth, finishing just ahead of Qureshi.
In the ATP List, Qureshi's former doubles partner Rohan Bopanna finished at 12 and Leander Paes at Number 13.
The Bryan brothers from USA secured the top two spots of the rankings.
