We badly need such voices in our country, where terrorism has crippled the mindset and confused public's beliefs on Islamic teachings. Being a moderate Muslim scholar, he helped in developing consensus among Ulema to issue a joint fatwa against 'suicide attacks' & defy Taliban's teachings publicly. After Assassination of Dr Sarfaraz Naeemi, his demise is a big loss to the entire nation and anti-taliban mindset".
May Allah Almighty bless him. He Stood against Taliban terrorists when very few people dared to do that.
May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
may Allah bless him, he was a good mufti. always preached brotherhood among muslims
