Funds for people: Govt reviewing budget outline says Sethi

Finance Secretary apprised the cabinet of the outlines of the next budget and the financial position of the province.

LAHORE: Chief Minister Najam Sethi said on Friday the government was reviewing the outlines of the forthcoming budget 2013-14. Addressing a meeting of the caretaker cabinet at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, he said the ongoing development projects would continue. Finance Secretary Tariq Bajwa apprised the cabinet of the outlines of the next budget and the financial position of the province. The meeting was attended by Home Minister Tariq Pervaiz, Law Minister Shams Mehmood Mirza, Health Minister Salima Hashmi, Energy and Transport Minister Arif Ijaz, Law Secretary Abul Hassan Najmi and Information Secretary Amjad Hussain.
