Pre-Election Arrangements: Reshuffle in police, ensuring security

Meanwhile, the clerks of all the police stations are also being replaced while a security plan has been prepared.

ATTOCK: Ahead of the upcoming elections, the District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Qadir Qamar has replaced the station house officers (SHOs) of all the police stations in the district, said a press release.

Meanwhile, the clerks of all the police stations are also being replaced while a security plan for the has been prepared.

About 3,000 police personnel would be deployed in the district on election day.

As may as 43 polling stations across the district have been declared sensitive where extra security measures will be taken while the help of Army and Rangers will also be sought.

Moreover, DPO Qamar will soon call a press briefing in this regard.
