Low-Intensity Blast: CD centre blown up

Around 200 grammes of explosives were used.

PESHAWAR: A CD centre was damaged when a low-intensity bomb exploded in the high-security cantonment area near Qayyum Stadium, Saddar on Tuesday.

Police said the shop’s shutter was destroyed in the blast, adding around 200 grammes of explosives were used. No casualties were reported.

The centre is owned by Syedullah and an FIR has been registered against unidentified culprits at Gulberg police station.
