During the Malaysian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel disobeyed the order of ‘Multi-21’ to overtake his teammate Mark Webber for the victory.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner says they will most likely ‘give up’ on the ‘Multi-21’ or ‘Multi-12’ code as their drivers do not understand it, according to Planetf1.

During the Malaysian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel disobeyed the order of ‘Multi-21’ to overtake his teammate Mark Webber for the victory. However, this does not mean they are against issuing team orders, just that drivers do not seem to understand the ‘Multi’ team orders.

“Multi-21 means car two ahead of car one. Multi-12 means car one ahead of car two,” Horner told Sky Sports F1. “It’s not complicated. It’s not that difficult to translate, but both our drivers in the last three races have failed to understand both of those messages. I think we’re going to give up on that code. We need to probably try something else.”
