MINGORA: Swat Deputy Commissioner Kamran Rehman has said that no negligence will be tolerated in the forthcoming anti-polio drive in Swat. In a meeting with the executive district officer for health and assistant commissioners from all seven tehsils and police officers, Rehman said: “This is our collective duty to take part in the polio eradication campaign actively to make the country polio-free.” Health EDO Dr Khurshid informed the meeting that 408,712 children under the age of five will be inoculated and 1,202 teams have been set up. The four-day anti-polio dive will start on April 15. Rehman urged all assistant commissioners to take effective measures in their related tehsils and ensure that all children are vaccinated. “No refusal case should appear anywhere in the district,” he said.
