Promotion: CPO transferred to Balochistan

GUJRANWALA: City Police Officer Abdur Razzaq Cheema has been transferred to Balochistan and appointed a regional police officer. Talking to The Express Tribune on Thursday, Cheema said he was happy about the transfer and the promotion. He said his place of service had yet to be notified and will be announced in two days. Talking about his experience in Gujranwala, he said he had found the citizens very helpful. Capt (retired) Mansoor Ahmed’s name is being considered for the new CPO. Dr Arif Mushtaq’s name is being considered for the post of the regional police officer as RPO Muhammad Amin is at an additional inspector general’s course in Lahore.
