KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Mumtaz Bhutto called on caretaker CM Justice (retd) Zahid Kurban Alavi at CM House on Wednesday.

Bhutto complained against the officials appointed by the outgoing government, alleging they were involved in pre-poll rigging in his constituency, said the CM House spokesperson.

The caretaker CM further informed Bhutto that the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has lifted the ban on transfers and postings, which has paved the way for appointment of officers in different districts on merit. Meanwhile, Sindh National Accountability Bureau (NAB) director-general (DG) Wajid Durrani held a meeting with Alavi.
