Lda Sale: Commercial plot auction for Rs30m

The per marla base price of the plots had been estimated by the approved evaluators of the State Bank of Pakistan.

LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority has sold 28 properties, including 25 commercial plots, a residential plot in F-1 Block, Johar Town and two residential plots in Venus Housing Scheme through an auction against a sum of Rs354.153 million. An open auction of 55 residential and commercial plots of different housing schemes was held in the LDA Community Centre, 239-A, New Muslim Town. At the auction 113 bidders had deposited earnest money. The per marla base price of the plots had been estimated by the approved evaluators of the State Bank of Pakistan. Among the 25 commercial plots of Johar Town, Mustafa Town and Model Town Extension Scheme, the maximum bid was offered for commercial plot No305/35 Block H3 of Johar Town, measuring 250.90 square meters which was auctioned for Rs30.912 million. The base price had been fixed at Rs1.3 million per marla but it fetched Rs2.575 million per marla at the auction.
