Theft: House burgled; car, bike lifted

The police registered cases under the relevant laws but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.

RAWALPINDI:


A house was burgled and a car and a motorcycle were stolen from the Civil Lines area of Rawalpindi during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, Chaudhry Imtiaz Ali lodged a complaint with the police that thieves had entered his house after breaking the locks and made off with Rs75,000 cash, prize bonds worth Rs40,000, jewellery, a revolver and other valuables.

Meanwhile, Kamran lodged a report with the same police that auto-thieves stole his Suzuki Mehran (RI-1718) from the porch of his house in Tariqabad.

Moreover, Sarim reported to the police that his motorcycle has been stolen from the parking lot of the Rawalpindi district courts.

The police registered cases under the relevant laws but no arrests or recoveries have been made yet.
