According to police sources, militants equipped with automatic weapons, attacked Kankar security check-point which was manned by police and security personnel.
As a result, Head Constable Abid Ali and another officer of special force sustained wounds. Meanwhile, the militants fled the scene. Police shifted the injured to hospital and started investigation.
