Crackdown On Defaulters: Gepco set to recover Rs120m

GUJRANWALA: Gujranwala Electric Power Company started a drive on Friday to recover arrears from defaulting consumers, a press release said.

It said 85 industrialists in the district owed Rs120.6 million.

According to the defaulters’ list issued with the press release, chronic defaulters include Lala Asadullah Papa (Rs10.3 million), Muhammad Hanif (Rs10.44 million), Haji Sultan (Rs3.1 million), Abdur Raheem (Rs10.1 million), Kamran Khan (Rs10.3 million), Mian Abdul Aziz (Rs10.14 million), Muhammad Riaz (Rs10.8 million),Nazia Ahsan (Rs3.3 million), Ghulam Abbas (Rs2.8 million) and Munawwar Hussain (Rs2.6 million).
