KARACHI: Six men apprehended in connection with the Abbas Town blast denied their involvement during a three-day identification parade before the fourth judicial magistrate, Malir, Naveed Asghar Shaikh.

The men claimed that they were not present in the area. In fact, they said they have never even seen Abbas Town, a court official told The Express Tribune. They insisted they were innocent.

On the other hand, three witnesses identified six suspects - Khairuddin, Muhammad Ishaq, Inamullah, Muhammad Shafiq, Irfan and Alam Shah - during the identification parade.

The witnesses told the court that the men came on motorcycles and a Suzuki van, which exploded after they parked it near the place of the incident.
