Last weekend in Karachi saw Saba Parvez wed Sameer Dada with colourful and festive events. The Express Tribune asked the official wedding photographer K Bridals for the qawali, mehndi and baraat pictures, so we could bring to you some wedding snapshots and fun trends sported by the gorgeous ladies who attended.

Saba Parvez looked stunning at all her events. A bronze kamdani outfit for the qawali; a beautiful red sari for the mehendi and a pristine, icy blue bridal outfit looked so lovely on her. Her make-up on all three events was natural, dewy and spot on.

Ayesha Khan, Moomal Sheikh and the adorable celeb couple Syra and Shahroze Subzwari were spotted looking super glam at Saba’s mehendi. Syra and Shahroze turned up the heat on the dance floor with a performance on the upbeat Bollywood number Kukri Kamal Da.

Minhal Malik was spotted rocking this gorgeous maatha patti. Make sure you secure it with the right amount of invisible pins — especially if you are dancing. It looks absolutely regal.

The bride’s sister Sanya and cousin wore some lovely flower jewelry. It looks so feminine and fresh when paired with a colourful mehendi outfit — do opt for some beautiful motia ke haar the next time you want to go for an understated look.

From the bride’s sister-in-law Maha to her friends and other close relatives, it seems that soft pinks and powdery hues were the colours of the season. These ladies looked lovely in the lighter shades, considering the weather is getting warmer and the ultra-bright shades are being kept in the closet.
