Football: Poona FC beats Al Faisal FC 4-2

KARACHI: Poona FC defeated Al Faisal FC 4-2 in the Naveedul Hassan Memorial Football Tournament at the G-9/2 Football Ground yesterday.

Poona FC won the match through penalty kicks as both the teams ended with a 3-3 draw when the full-time whistle blew.

Muhammad Harris, Adeel and Muhammad Aquib scored for Poona FC, while Muhammad Ashfaq claimed a hat-trick for Al Faisal FC.

In today’s fixture, Islamabad Academy FC will play Quaid-e-Azam FC. The tournament features 36 registered clubs from Islamabad.
