Status Upgrade: Girls college becomes university

Muhammad Mukhtar was given the additional charge as the VC of the new university.

BAHAWALPUR: The Government Sadiq Girls Degree College has been upgraded to a university.

Its new name is: Government Sadiq College for Women University. Islamia University Vice Chancellor Muhammad Mukhtar was given the additional charge as the VC of the new university in a ceremony on Monday.
