LAHORE: Senior Vice President of the MQM Central Punjab Advocate Qazi Muteen Ahmad has said the MQM will continue its peaceful protest against the Election Commission’s decision to carry out delimitation of Karachi constituencies. Talking to APP on Sunday, he said the new delimitation was aimed at inflicting political damage to the party. He said new delimitation only in Karachi was unconstitutional and amounted to discrimination against MQM. Ahmad said that if the new delimitation of constituencies was necessary it should have been undertaken all over the country. He added that the ECP’s decision of delimitation would cast doubts and apprehensions over the impartiality of the electoral body.
