Stabbed To Death: Man kills brother-in-law

There was a dispute between the deceased’s sister and her husband, police said.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A man was killed on Friday by his brother-in-law over a dispute between the deceased’s sister and her husband, police said.

Muhammad Ajmal, a resident of Thali Road, had had an argument with his wife, Nasreen, which had led to Nasreen moving to her parents’ house.

Ajmal visited his wife on Friday and asked her to return but she refused to go with him.

This, police said, angered Ajmal who attacked Nasreen as well as her brother, Nadeem, when he intervened.

Police said Nadeem was stabbed with a knife. Nasreen, who got injured in the incident, was being treated at a hospital.

C Division police said the father-in-law of the deceased had filed a complaint.
