Death Anniversary: Tributes paid to Akhtar Hussain Akhtar

LAHORE: The Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) on Tuesday observed the 2nd death anniversary of Dr Akhtar Hussain Akhtar. The speakers paid tributes to Akhtar for his services for the promotion of Punjabi language and literature, saying that his name would live forever in the annals of literary history. The speakers included Waseem Gardezi, Syed Anwar Naz, Naz Okarvi, Syed Ali Irfan, Dr Azhar Mehmood Chaudhry, Prof Ramzan Shakir, Sharif Anjum, Arshad Bhatti and Dr Sughra Sadaf.
