Blast in Karachi kills one

KARACHI: A blast near the Landi Kotal roundabout in the North Nazimabad area left one dead and two wounded, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Rescue and police officials confirmed the casualty.

A black Corolla was coming from Hyderi market when it suddenly exploded.

According to police officials, Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) employee Farhan Ali was driving the car and hence, has lost his life.

Rangers and Police officials reached the area and investigation started.

Security officials denied the initial report that it was a cylinder blast.
