President of Jamhoori Watan Party Talal Bugti has said that an All Parties Conference will be held in the first week of April regarding the kidnappings of Bugti refugees.

He said that in a letter written to the Election Commission of Pakistan he had requested the electoral body to register Bugti refugees but before that could be done, members of the Bugti clan were kidnapped.

Expressing his concern at a news conference held at the Bugti House, he added that the kidnapping of four refugees from Hyderabad in Khuda ki Basti was the latest of many such incidents.

He said that the caretaker government being installed in the province was not acceptable. By holding the all parties’ conference we wanted to tell the government that if they did not change their stance the Balochis would have no choice but to take their issues to international forums.

Talks with various political parties regarding the All Parties Conference are already underway, he said.
