A pamphlet was also pasted on a nearby wall warning drug dealers of dire consequences.
Police told The Express Tribune that around one kilogramme of explosives had been used in this homemade device, which destroyed one shop and caused considerable damage to others.

The CD shop had been reopened only a month ago after being shut for three years following threats from militants.
The pamphlet pasted on the wall, which was later removed by the police, was written in Urdu and had names of local drug dealers. Action will be taken against those who do not stop selling drugs, the pamphlet said. The blast spread panic in the market.
