Drug addicts had occupied two shops of the Elementary School at Bihari Colony. The team got these shops vacated with the police help.

A 20-foot greenbelt of the Millat High School, Satellite Town, had been occupied by influential people.

The greenbelt was vacated with the help of a police team led by the Satellite Town station house officer.

The team also got a 30-marla house vacated from some influential people.

The house had been built on the land belonging to the Government Modern High School. The team also got 51 marlas of the Government APWA Primary School vacated in Sabzi Mandi.

City Division Superintendent of Police Captain Liaquat Ali said the APWA school building had been lying vacant since 1986 because of its dilapidated condition.

He said the building had later been annexed to the police station.

The team also raided the Girls Primary School, Fatu Mand, and found that a Water and Sanitation Agency executive engineer had turned it into his residence.

The team served a notice on the district officer (Buildings), Wasa managing director and executive district officer (Education) to vacate the land in 24 hours and report compliance.
