Basketball: Dow University clinches basketball title

Alam named Most Valuable Player of the championship for his outstanding show.

KARACHI: Dow University of Health Science (DUHS) clinched the 36th HEC Zone-G Intervarsity Basketball title after pipping University of Karachi (KU) 53-50 here at the Agha Khan University (AKU) Complex. Sabih Alam starred for the winners by claiming 18 points while Hammad Aftab scored nine points for his team and Aryan Meknat chipped in with eight. Alam was named Most Valuable Player of the championship for his outstanding show.
