He says there are 8 blocks in Thar Coal field and many investors have come forward to participate in projects.

Hot and coal: CM inaugurates mining power project

KARACHI: Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah performed on Thursday the groundbreaking ceremony of different Thar coal mining schemes, including that of the Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company - the first opencast mining project in the country.

He said that there are eight blocks in Thar Coal field and many investors have come forward to participate in projects related to it. He said that the World Bank had also assured that it will assist in these projects.
