Fourth and fifth grade students of different primary schools were seen holding placards and were being led by the Primary School Teachers Association office bearers Munawwar Ali Qazi and Neer Ahmad Jalbani.
Qazi blamed the district officer of education, Ghotki, Abid Jakhrani of corruption and said that the officer had not sent enough question papers for students to appear in their annual examinations although they were paid Rs2.40 million for this purpose.
Meanwhile, Jakhrani refuted their claims by saying that no money had been released to him.
