LAHORE: Re-polling for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party elections for Lahore district and town office-bearers was held on Monday.

The polling station was set up at Aiwan-i-Iqbal. Polling started at 9am and continued until after 5pm.

There was no re-polling for president and general secretary. The re-polling was necessitated by the missing ballet papers.

The enthusiasm seen on February 26 was missing. Elections for regional and provincial office-bearers would be held in the coming week.

At many places the election commission has refused re counting of votes just because of the fact that embezzlement may not be exposed.
