Decrepit: Girls’ school gets new building

Govt approved Rs200m for new building, after the old building was declared dangerous.

ALIPUR CHATTHA: The 15-room new building of the government girls’ school was inaugurated on Monday.

The school’s old building had been declared dangerous after which the government had approved Rs200 million for the construction of a new building.

The school’s new building was inaugurated by MNA Justice (retired) Iftikhar Cheema, who said that 60 schools in his constituency had been upgraded and refurbished during the last five years.
