Irfan Baig had been extending death threats to them in order to usurp all the property left by her husband, Mirza Ehsan Baig, said Shaista Ehsan.
“I have yet to marry my daughters off but Irfan is hell-bent on driving us all out of the house,” she said.
Ehsan said her husband had thrown their son out of the house 12 years ago because of his disobedience.
She said Irfan had married without his parents’ consent, stolen cash and jewelry from their house and fled to London with his wife. He returned to Pakistan with his wife following the death of Mirza Ehsan Baig, she said.
