Public education: Girls school blown up in Mardan
Khan said a case had been filed against unidentified militants.
SHERGARH:
A government-run girls school was destroyed when a bomb planted by unidentified militants inside one of the school’s classrooms went off in Katlang area of Mardan district on Thursday. Katlang police official Amjid Khan said a bomb weighing five kilogrammes went off at around 4am and destroyed two classrooms along with the building’s veranda. He added the school was completely destroyed. Khan said a case had been filed against unidentified militants.
