‘Misusing authority’: Town officer asked for explanation

Warraich denied the allegations and said he would defend himself.

GUJRANWALA: A town officer has been issued notice by the administrator to explain why he has been claiming double the monthly fuel limit set by the government. Qila Deedar Singh Town Administrator Waseem Abbas has also sought an explanation from Town Officer (Regulation) Shahid Farooq Warraich about using a government vehicle for private use. Warraich is allowed 200 litres of fuel every month but according to the record has been using about 400 litres. Warraich denied the allegations and said he would defend himself.
