Policeman kills young man in Larkana over minor accident

The motorcyclist, identified as Ali, was shifted to the Chandka hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

LARKANA: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police shot a young man dead in Larkana over a minor accident, Express News reported on Sunday.

ASI Hussain Ali was hit by a motorcycle, upon which he drew his pistol and shot the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist, identified as Ali, was shifted to the Chandka hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The SSP Larkana took notice of the incident and arrested the ASI.

Extra-judicial killings in the country came into the limelight when Rangers shot dead 22-year-old Sarfraz Shah in Karachi in 2011.

The incident was caught on tape with Shah pleading to be taken to a hospital after being shot.

The video, in which Shah was seen succumbing to his injuries, went viral on the internet after which the Supreme Court took suo motu notice of the incident.

The Rangers personnel involved in the incident were sentenced to death by an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).

Instead of protecting people they have decided to now kill the people so no one to protect.
