Achieving ambitions: Wateen Telecom identifies ‘core values’

LAHORE: Wateen Telecom, the country’s leading converged communications service provider, recently launched ‘core values’ during special events organised for all company employees in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. First such event was held at Wateen head office in Lahore, which was attended by over 700 employees ranging from office assistants to senior management. CEO Naeem Zamindar and senior board member Zouhair Khaliq were also present. The entire process of defining and creating Wateen Values took over a year and a half, resulting in five final core values to be implemented within the organisation. These are serve and enable; passion, energy and fun; team work and respect; ownership and accountability; and innovation and creativity. Naeem Zamindar said, “For Wateen this marks the dawn of a new beginning and a sign of our commitment to build a workforce that exemplifies right attitude, behaviour and mindset.”
