Undergraduate education: UAF to launch 3 new programmes

The university will launch bachelor of science degrees in International Relations and Software engineering this year.

FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Tuesday announced that it would start three new undergraduate programmes. Speaking at an Academic Council meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that in addition to an associate degree in Feed Technology, the university will launch bachelor of science degrees in International Relations and Software engineering this year. The council also announced its choice of scientists on the basis of their research work and discussed ways to eradicate plagiarism. The VC said that while a lot of research was being conducted, the real challenge lay in making use of it and applying the knowledge gained through it.
