ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to transfer and replace 300 officials of secret services across the country for their weak performance. The decision comes in response to their failure in gathering information regarding recent terrorist activities. An interior ministry official on condition of anonymity told the BBC that most officials facing possible transfer orders are posted in the restive provinces of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He added that after the recent events, the prime minister had advised to set up a special committee of officers from the cabinet division to review the efficiency of secret services.
