Health care: APPNA gifts Rs50m equipment

The association promised that it would gift equipment every year.

FAISALABAD: The Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) on Wednesday gifted hospital equipment worth Rs50 million to Punjab Medical College. The equipment includes 15 adjustable beds, a state of the art x-ray machine, six ventilators, four monitors, an ultra sound machine, operation theatre lights and three electrical maternity beds (for multiple positioning). The association promised that it would gift equipment every year.

Great work by APPNA, I hope it is utilized properly, perhaps they should look into the Mardan hospital because it is serving large surrounding areas and their equipment is getting old and dilapidated. Thank you APPNA for your generous gift.
