Traffic Police: ‘Additional wardens deployed’

Wardens were deployed at busy intersections to improve traffic flow.

LAHORE: Additional wardens have been deployed at the Canal Bank Road underpasses, Gowalmandi Chowk, Allama Iqbal Road, Mozang Chowk and other busy intersections to improve traffic flow, Chief Traffic Officer Captain (retired) Sohail Chaudhry said on Saturday.

The traffic chief visited various areas to assess the traffic flow, including Canal Bank Road, Jail Road, Shadman, Mozang, McLeod Road and Kalma Chowk, as well as various stops on the new Metro Bus Service, said traffic police officials.

The CTO directed divisional officers, DSPs and traffic sector in-charges to conduct regularly visits of their areas.

He praised traffic wardens for doing a good job in conducting traffic despite the poor weather conditions.
