Malakand division: Key army posts shuffled

SWAT: Key army posts in Malakand Division have been reshuffled. As a result, both the general commanding officers (GOC) for Malakand Division and Operational Commander for Mingora city were transferred. Major General Ghulam Qamar, the GOC Malakand Division, was transferred to Mangla and was replaced by Major General Sanaullah Niazi. Similarly, Operation Commander Mingora Brigadier Abid was transferred to Mangla and replaced by Brigadier Akmal. According to sources in the army, reshuffling is routine.
