Energy policy: 5,000 acres for solar projects

CDA had recovered 5,426 acres of government land from a land-grab mafia.

BAHAWALPUR: Cholistan Development Authority Managing Director, Javed Akhtar has said that Punjab government has allotted 5,000 acres of land in Cholistan for the solar energy project. He said 1,000 acres had already been allotted to two companies from Germany and the United States for their projects. He said the CDA had recovered 5,426 acres of government land from a land-grab mafia.
