The house was reportedly located in a bazaar. The children could not manage to escape and perished.
At least 24 people were killed and several sustained injuries when a fire broke out at a shoe factory in Lahore on September 11, 2012.
The two-storey building was constructed for residential purposes however, was being used commercially. The factory employed more than 100 people who worked in different shifts but had only one entry and exit point.
