The court had warned earlier that, if not proven to be a minor, Shahrukh will be sent to Central Jail. The medical board's report was submitted today in court. The board had handed over the sealed final report to the police on February 9.
The Anti-terrorism court’s prosecutor had earlier revealed that the report regarding Shahrukh’s age reached them via post and they will open it during the hearing. If the accused turns out to be over 18 than instead of juvenile prison, he will be sent to Central Jail.
The medical board had examined Jatoi’s birth certificate, education and identification documents in order to determine his actual age.
The assessment disclosed distortion in the data as his birth certificate and education documents mention 1993 as his birth year, but his Bay-form and passport stated he was born in 1995. However, Jatoi’s dental and bone examination revealed he is around 19-year-old.
Jatoi is accused of killing Shahzeb, the 20-year-old son of a police officer, in the upscale Defence neighbourhood of Karachi on December 25, 2012 over a petty dispute.

Well eye for an eye. Off course nothing will bring the victim back.
He will be getting all the luxuries in Jail. He will still live like a king. All it takes is the Jatoi family to provide food to the jailers each day and they will start pampering him.
The Police also conveniently captured his servant who will end up taking the blame for the killing and the young Jatoi will be a free man very soon.

It is very important that corrupt and criminals should be brough tto justice. He should be treated as per the law and should serve the punishment as per the law. We still are where Arabs were 1400 years back when poor were not given justice and system was to support illegal activites of the powerful. It should be lesson for all the criminals and very importantly to show the power of law and justice to people involved in illegal activity.
Though i would like to mention that we have forgot many incidents which happened in last few years e.g. murder of 2 boys in Sialkot, Cases about medicine companies etc. Media creates a hype to sell their product (channels) and than we along with channels forget everything. Its time for us to wake up and open our eyes.

Now there should be no further delay in justice. It should be served soon!

Events in chronologically Earlier medical report was presented in the court declaring Shah Rukh Jatoi – SRJ as minor by concerned authority/doctor. The prosecutor lawyer accepted the report in the court and judge on that acceptance sent the SRJ children jai l(borastal). The judge also had not raised any objection or doubts on the report. No objection from the Shahzeb father and family on that report at that hearing. Theraft, in the next hearing at SC, CJ raised question on the medical report of SRJ After listening the observation of SC, the concrned Judge of lower court rejected the earlier medical report and order for a fresh medical examination in next hearing by a medical board. How interesting, every one woke up after SC observation. Formal Report is still awaited to be presented in court, but this interim news showing he is not minor.
Now my queries are Why prosecutor accepted the earlier medical report and did not raise objection. Why the lower court judge accepted the earlier medical report and then rejected in next hearing only after SC notice. And now the medical board news seems SRJ may be declared major.
It shows that how the system is so corrupt that to determine the age of a accused in a media hifi case the SC has to take notice, then what is done with a common person case where no media or SC is involved, One can imagine.
Is there any way to get out of this state of affairs in Pakistan, I think NO. Further, I think that action should be initaited against all those who prepared & accepted the earlier report, i.e. Concerned Doctor, The Prosecutor, and also the Judge of the court who sent the SRJ to borastal.
The longer it takes to punish him, more are the chances of him avoiding justice.

Phew! At last we have succeeded in determining the age of a person. No wonder we are living in third world.

Sentence him before his father proves that he is already dead, therefore can not be hanged.

Any extra punishment for lying to the courts before and distorting the evidence? He deserves it.
Why is his dad not in jail for perverting the course of justice?? Have we no law against perjury?? No wonder Pakistan is a basket case.
